The Brunswick School is an independent school system located in lower Connecticut and encapsulates lower, middle and upper school grades. An increasing student population recently allowed the school to expand from one to two campuses in the Town of Greenwich. While the upper school remained at the recently renovated downtown campus the lower and middle school campus was developed on a 104 acre parcel north of the city. New facilities include; three academic buildings, a field house and hockey rink, gymnasium, faculty housing, athletic fields, playgrounds, gardens, and vehicular parking and circulation.
Brown + Sardina worked with the school and design team to develop and implement the site program and circulation strategies and shape the unique physical characteristics of the campus which includes, the central ‘Brunswick Lawn’ and preservation of the prominent surrounding vegetation.
