Brown + Sardina provided a full range of Landscape Architectural and planning services for the development of a combined 120,000 ft2 Ambulatory Cancer Center (ACC), 80,000 ft2 Medical Office Building (MOB) and Imaging and Cardiology Services wing.
The final site plan takes advantage of the surrounding site, salt marsh, Waters River and 25-foot grade change was a priority. The building design is arranged around a central lobby which creates a sense of an integrated center and provides sweeping views to the Waters River below. Associated with the Cancer Center is a small healing garden oriented to the marsh and consisting of a shade structure, seating, a small fountain and native landscape consisting of perennials, ornamental grasses, and flowering shrubs.
