Brown Sardina assisted the Architects in realizing the Master Plan for 24 acres of the campus including closing roadways, the renovation of four buildings, the construction of the Williams College of Business, the Conaton Learning Commons, Fenwick Place Residence Hall, the Hoff Dining Commons and the Central Utility Plant. The new buildings are arranged to create the ‘Hoff Quad’, featuring a fountain, multiple sculptures and ‘organic’ open spaces. The Hoff Quad is at a campus crossroads and is linked by the St. Ignatius Steps to the Academic Quad to the west and the Fenwick Place Residence Hall and Dining Commons to the east. The site has 40 feet of grade change with multiple floors of the buildings being accessible from the outside. The amount of grade change created challenges in developing an accessible circulation and open space system with access for all. New standards for exterior finishes were established including LED lighting, paving and site furnishings. The project is LEED Silver certified
